Team-building games (by Oo Wai)
Today, after lunch, we did team-building games. We had to finish a couple of tasks to win the grand prize. Mr David, told us that we can actually copy other group’s ideas for completing the tasks.
The first task: Blow balloons and stack them up until they reached the same level as a stack of chairs. Halfway through creating our balloon structures, Mr David told us that we could do a group cheer to remove 3 chairs to lower the height of the chairs and finish our task faster. My group (group 2) did a cheer and 3 chairs were removed. However, group 1 completed their task faster than us. We continued working on our structure and finally completed it a few minutes later.
The second task: Find 10 different types of leaves, 5 different types of fruits and count the number of steps near the wine cellar. Although we finished the first task later, we caught up quickly and beat group 2 into completing task 2 faster. Yay!
The third task: Take 13 pictures of various places and things shown in a piece of paper. They included plants, sign boards and animals found around the farm. My group actually wandered to another farm and we had to quickly return to Mr David’s farm. After a lot of running and hard work, group 1 finally completed the task and won. They did not give up! Well done, group 1!
Through these games, we learnt that we must have patience, cooperation and teamwork in order to complete the tasks.
U put that your group was group 2, then how come u put that your group beat yr own group??
